Privacy Policy

This policy explains what nine71 AI, Inc. (“nine71”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use nine71.ai, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, and a password if you set one. If you sign in through a third party, we receive the identifier and email that provider gives us.
Material you submit. Audio and any details you attach to it, so we can analyse it and return a result.
Usage data. Basic technical information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and timestamps.
Messages. Anything you send us by email or through a form.

We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not ask for payment card numbers — where a payment is taken, it is handled by a payment processor and we never see the full card details.

Why we use it

To provide the Service and return results to you.
To create and secure your account, and to prevent abuse.
To improve the Service and understand how it is used, in aggregate.
To reply to you when you contact us.
To meet legal obligations.

Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Service, or your consent, depending on the purpose.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not publish material you submit.
We do not share one customer’s catalogue with another. For business accounts this is enforced by access controls, not by policy alone.
We do not run third-party advertising on the Service.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to host and operate the Service — cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery and payment processing. They may process personal data on our behalf, under contract, and only for that purpose.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If nine71 is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of it; we will give notice before it becomes subject to a different policy.

Where it is stored

Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States. If you are outside the United States, using the Service involves transferring your information there, and we rely on appropriate safeguards where the law requires them.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account exists. Material you submit is kept while you have an account or until you delete it — when you delete it, it is deleted, not anonymised and retained. Usage data is kept for a limited period for security and analytics, and is deleted or anonymised once that period ends.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. Only the first of these is strictly necessary; you can block the rest through your browser, with some loss of functionality.

Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material we will give notice through the Service or by email, and update the date above.
